The plants are designed to be flexible and include a wide range of shredders, hammer mills and sorting accessories to process all types of waste. The technologies perform mechanical and completely in-line treatments, eliminating costly manual sorting.

The grinding cycle

The work process includes crushing and grinding by means of industrial shredders and Panizzolo hammer mills so as to release the metals from the inerts and then to proceed with a step to recover the metals by means of specific sorting systems.

The production layout changes depending on the customer’s requirements. Panizzolo can provide suitable solutions according to the type of mixed metal, hourly productivity and the sorting degree you want to achieve.

The refining cycle

The non-ferrous mixed fluff exiting the primary treatment cycle can be sent for the End-of-Waste treatment thanks to the Panizzolo refining plant. The plant features completely in-line treatment cycles, using fully mechanical systems such as Panizzolo refiner mills. These are patented technologies which, together with specific sorting systems, can process high percentages of wear-causing steels and inerts, profitably recovering the copper, aluminium and brass granules. The output is impurity-free and classifiable as secondary raw material.
