Treatment flexibility

Panizzolo machinery can receive different types and sizes of infeed material, depending on the scrap and on customer requirements. This flexibility is also made possible thanks to specific patented elements.

The Panizzolo treatment cycle is able to sort solid urban waste containing plastic, nylon, fabric, wood up to 65% of their weight. The technologies guarantee ideal recovery of iron proler, aluminium and other metals. The recycling solutions perform treatments completely in line, with specific shredding, grinding and sorting stages of the SUW.

The waste is reduced to precise sizes, for simple final cleaning, sieving and sorting processes of inerts and metals. Shredders, hammer mills and sorting accessories provide the treatment cycle with quality and flexibility. All the technologies inserted are focused on the simple and profitable recovery of secondary raw materials, particularly acknowledged for the excellent quality of the iron proler intended for direct sale in foundries.

The treatment cycle

Depending on the waste and treatment requirements, the Panizzolo plant can include an initial volumetric reduction step by means of shredders or openers. The second step grinds the waste by means of Panizzolo hammer mills, so as to determine an effective process in separating metals from inerts.

The production layout is studied together with the customer. Panizzolo is able to provide ideal solutions for recycling depending on the type of SUW and on the customer’s production and quality requirements.
